CAR, VAN & MOTORHOME SERVICING
At H.G. & Vehicle Services we carry out servicing several types of vehicles including cars, vans, and motorhomes.
Regularly servicing your vehicle will improve reliability which will help to prevent costly repairs and ensure it is running correctly, which will help keep fuel consumption at its best.
Your vehicle service is usually due on a time/distance interval as stipulated in the vehicle handbook or a waring message on your dashboard will appear near the time on some newer vehicle. Usually every 12 months or 10,000 miles (whichever comes first), however on some modern vehicles it can be condition based where the vehicle will inform you when the service is due.
We carry out two types of service at HG Vehicles, Small and Full, see below for details.
Small Vehicle Service
- Replace Oil Filter, Air Filter and Oil.
- Check all levels including Coolant and brake fluid.
- Check Brake Discs and Pads.
- Check the Wiper Blades and top up washer fluid if needed.
- Tyres conditions including their Pressures and Tread Depths.
- Reset service light.
If any additional work is required we will get in touch before works are carried out.
Full Vehicle Service
- Replace Oil filter, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Pollen Filter, Spark Plugs (if petrol vehicle) and Oil.
- Check all levels including Coolant and brake fluid.
- Remove all 4 wheels and check suspension and braking system.
- Check the Wiper Blades and top up washer fluid if needed.
- Tyres conditions including their Pressures and Tread Depths.
- Inspect Timing Belt condition and advise if necessary
- Reset service light.
If any additional work is required we will get in touch before works are carried out.
We will stamp your Book
Once we have completed your vehicle service we will stamp your service book and provide an itemised invoice showing what parts, oils and fluids have been used.
